2010 Students: This Welcome Letter will be updated before registration opens.
Stay tuned for updates.
Course
Site Registration opens Friday before classes begin!

different forms of interactive computer programs, before enrolling in this
class.
To the many students who would like to take Nutrition 218 (parents-to-be, childcare providers, new parents, etc.) who cannot come to a classroom regularly-this class is for you! Maternal & Child Nutrition is offered as a 100% on-line course, which means that ALL class work and exams will be completed outside of the traditional classroom. There are NO mandatory meetings. Nutrition 218 is taught by Cherie Moore, M.S., and full-time nutrition instructor at Cuesta College.
This class is only for the
motivated and online-savvy student. No late assignments are accepted. You
must be familiar with using software, such as always clicking in space away from
your answers so that you “lock-in” answers. Avoiding this can cause a large
loss of points as your answers may change. There is an excellent Intro to Online
half unit class at

How To Contact The Instructor:
· E-mail cmoore@cuesta.edu
Very Important Reminders:
·
Check your spam if you do not receive a weekly e-mail
from me in your inbox.
·
The midterm and final exam are timed-you
have only 2 hours to take them. All other assessments may be viewed and then
re-visited within the open period. Do not click on the midterm and final
until you are ready to take them or your time will run out. They are 100 points
each so you will want to follow these instructions.
·
Don’t forget to not only enroll in this class through
Cuesta, but register on the Pageout Course Site before
August 17th. Students not registered in Pageout
by August 20th may be dropped
from the course.
·
Once you have registered in Pageout, you will be
automatically activated into the course!
·
Make sure you enter a current e-mail address
into the Pageout
program-that is how I will e-mail you for group distribution e-mails!
All e-mails will also appear as announcements on your opening page on Pageout so be sure to click on these announcements to
view the whole message! If you do not receive an e-mail from the instructor
after registering in Pageout and by the end of the
first week of classes, then re-check your e-mail address that you entered in Pageout or check your Spam folder!
·
Be sure to read the orientation notes and slides on
mycuesta before beginning the course and submitting
the assignments!
·
Lastly- this class is not a
“work-at-your-own-pace” class. You have deadlines each Friday. No exceptions
are made. Please realize by taking this class you are committing to submitting
these regular assignments on time.
Good Luck!
Cherie Moore
