Phlebotomy Testing Information
Cuesta College is an approved testing site
for the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
NCCT has been approved by the California Department of Health
Services / Laboratory Field Services as a national phlebotomy
certification examination agency.

session. Registered Cuesta students have first priority.

Applicants will need to submit the
following information with their application to NCCT:

Copy of high school transcripts or diploma, GED or college transcripts.

Copy of phlebotomy training certification of
completion from an approved Department of Health Services -
Laboratory Field Services training program.

Working phlebotomist must submit a letter from
your employer stating your phlebotomy experience with dates of
employment

A recent photograph attached to the NCCT
application.
