Scholarship Applications are now available, use the link above to access the full Application. Use the link below for individual Letters of Recommendation (Recommendation Letters are also attached to the main Application).

   Governor's Scholarship Program

Students who earned qualifying scores for a Governor's Scholars Award in the year(s) 2001, 2002, and 2003 and were notified by their schools or districts can claim awards now. If you believe you have won an award, but you have not received your notification letter, please contact your high school.

When filling out the request, the following information is needed:

OSHER SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA   
1. STUDENT MUST HAVE COMPLETED 24 DEGREE- APPLICABLE, SEMESTER UNITS.
2. STUDENT MUST BE “BOARD OF GOVERNOR FEE WAIVER,” (BOG) ELIGIBLE.
3. STUDENT MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 DEGREE APPLICABLE UNITS.
4. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE PRO-RATED AT $500 FOR HALF-TIME UNITS, $750 FOR THREE-QUARTER TIME UNITS,      
and  $1000 FOR FULL-TIME STUDENTS FOR THE 2009-2010 ACADEMIC YEAR.

5.
AWARDS ARE DISTRIBUTED OVER FALL & SPRING SEMESTER.
6. STUDENTS MUST SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE UNITS FOR FALL SEMESTER IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THEIR SPRING DISBURSEMENT.

7. STUDENTS MUST SUBMIT AN OSHER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION BY THE POSTED DEADLINE,
OCTOBER 15, 2009.

IF SELECTED, THE CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A THANK-YOU LETTER TO THE DONOR

The following three scholarships  are available through the Association of California Water Agencies for students pursuing degrees related to water resources including (but not limited to) engineering, agriculture, environmental studies, law and public administration.              
               Clair A. Hill Scholarship Presented by the Orange County Water District
Each academic year the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) awards one Clair A. Hill scholarship in the amount of $5,000 to qualified students in various water resources-related fields of study.
