1. Why would someone want to become a Certified Nursing Assistant?
A. Have you had a positive experience with an
older person early in life? This could signal that you should
decide to become a
Nursing Assistant.
B. Perhaps you have not chosen a profession, or
you aren't happy in your current job.
C. You will provide predictability and stability to the
nursing care for our aging, frail, or chronically
challenged citizens which
in turn enhances their feeling of security.
D. By becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will
get your feet wet in the Healthcare Industry.
E. Many of my students are brand new to
Healthcare and decide they love it after taking my course.
F. You will bring wisdom, patience, humor, and a
general attitude of caring to the daily lives of the elderly.
2. Why would someone want to become an Acute Care Nursing Assistant?
A. If you know that you want to become a nurse,
taking my Acute Care Nursing Assistant course will
prepare you for your
upward mobility in healthcare. You will be competent in many nursing skills as
you
begin the Registered
Nursing Program.
B. Perhaps you have been a Certified Nursing Assistant
for a while, and you want a more challenging
environment in which to work.
C. During or after completing the Acute Care Nursing
Assistant Course, you could enroll in the Monitor
Observer, Phlebotomy, or Unit
Coordinator Courses and be cross-trained.
D. The Healthcare Industry prefers to hire cross-trained
employees.
E. Healthcare is a very diversified profession which
means you don't have to suffer "burnout" because you
can always work in a different
department and experience lifelong learning.
