The syllabus can be purchased at the bookstore approximately 1-2 weeks before the course begins. Please call ahead to be sure it is on the shelf. A textbook is not needed, the syllabus is your textbook.

The purchase of a caliper (a measuring device) is optional and is usually available in Cuesta's bookstore or at our local uniform shops. Call ahead of time to be sure some are available. They retail for approximately 10-15 dollars.

A magnifying glass is also optional, but it may be helpful for you to be able to see small detail better.

This class is on the fast track, therefore it will be necessary for you to study approximately 18 hours per week. For each hour spent in class, approximately three hours of home study will be required.

The PowerPoint lessons can be downloaded and printed ahead of time for your convenience of having them in class. In the event that the server is down, come prepared to take notes in class.
