 Keys to Success

Distance Learning is not for everyone.  I always hate to see students sign up for a distance class and learn that they really need to be in a classroom.  I have identified the following keys to success. 

Keys to Success:

1.  Self-discipline: Able to set yourself a schedule and make time to work through lessons regularly.

2.  Independence:  Be an independent learner who like to work alone and explore and also has resources for help.

3.  Self- Motivated: Actively seeks out help and asks questions.  Identifies problem areas and comes to my office.  Wants to succeed.  Wants to know the correct answer.  Critically does homework and checks answers in the back of the book.

4.  Computer Savvy: Likes computers and likes processing information from a computer screen.
